OUR FENDERS AND TAILS
Our Fenders and Tails are popular with vintage street bikes and dirt track racers. Fenders and Tail pieces are made of thicker fiberglass. Cushion foam is high quality and molded from single foam block, not scrap foam bits like others. It is covered with a heavy weight vinyl and has a textured Street Fighter top. All fenders and tails come to you with an unpainted white gelcoat surface.

This retro fender is designed for 70s and 80s vintage street bikes with wide gas tanks. Fender comes with quality one-piece foam. It is covered with a heavy weight vinyl and has a textured Street Fighter top. The seat cushion mounts to the fender with Velcro. Seat cushion in this photo has been changed. It now looks like the seat on the narrow cafe fender. Fender comes in white gelcoat. Overall length-27 1/4".

This new narrow cafe fender is designed to self mount on '74-'80 650 Yamahas. It will also fit other bikes with narrower tanks. Measure your frame's seat rails and compare to my under fender specs. Seat is quality one-piece foam and is covered with a heavy weight vinyl. Textured Street Fighter top. The seat cushion mounts to the fender with Velcro. Fender comes in white gelcoat. With a little creativity you can have a cool cafe on the cheap. You can buy those glue-on rubber knee pads for 35 bucks-they fit most tanks.

Styling is based on the old 'bum-stop' seats from the 50s and 60s. Notice the sculpted lines at cushion/tank junction - it answers the tank knee pockets. To mount it, remove the seat hinges and lock. For now, you'll have to craft your own mounting system. Cushion foam is high quality and molded from single foam block, not scrap foam bits like others. It is covered with a heavy weight vinyl and has a textured Street Fighter top.
Made from a three part mold - this yields a part with more countour than most glass parts. Seat cushion is carved from a solid block or rare foam. If attached to the fender with 2" wide Velcro for quick access to fender mount bolts. Not available for sale by itself because it was made short to fit behind extra long Manx tank it probably would expose a gap behind any other tank).
Styling is blended with tank. Molded-in side number panels. Fiberglass is made in a highly contoured three part mold. Comes in paintable white gelcoat. Cushion foam is high quality and molded from single foam block, not scrap foam bits like others. It is covered with a heavy weight vinyl and has a textured Street Fighter top. Cushion mounts to tail piece with Velcro. Red cushion piping is standard.

Designed to fit behind a stock tank
The XRWS is for use with stock 650 tanks. This photo is the original gray covered pattern before finish sanding and polishing. The final fender will come in white gelcoat. The sides of the XRWS are smooth from front to back. There is a dropped pocket in the fender. The dropped pocket sits on the frame cross member. The front of the fender is secured by the rear tank mount post. Cushion foam is high quality and molded from single foam block, not scrap foam bits like others. It is covered with a heavy weight vinyl and has a textured Street Fighter top. We provide well nuts and bolts so mounting is limited to drilling two holes in the frame. Kit includes fender, cushion, mounting hardware and instructions. The XRWS fender is $285. Over the years Omar's has sold hundreds of XRWO fenders. As you can see in the photo the sides on the XRWO fender are smooth from front to back. There is a dropped pocket in the fender. This is not just another Champion fender! It is a © 2004 copyrighted Omar redesign. The first thing you'll notice is the seat cushion is longer and lower in the rear than the original. Original Champions had a tendency to slide your crotch forward into the back of the tank. This was/is 'mildly distracting' as Champion owners know too well. Our cushion allows you to move around. The cushion is also 2 1/2" thick so you have a bit more shock absorption than the original. Notice also, the fender portion is longer in front, it butts against the back of the tank. Originals left a gap between tank and seat which meant you had to build a mounting strap to catch the rear tank mount bolt. Our fender actually goes under the tank and shares the rear tank mount bolt for mounting. And the last bit of uniqueness is there is no gap between the rear frame loop and the fender. Many copies of the original have a big gap here and it looks really bad! Omar's glass is thicker so it will survive more crashes than the flimsy Champion copies out there. It is covered with a heavy weight vinyl and has a textured Street Fighter top. Fender (when ordered with Gen II tank) is designed to self-mount on frames from 1974 on. Taillight is optional. Fender for Standard 650s is shown above. Fender for Special models have rounded bulges in rear of number panel for laid down shocks. Street Tracker fender will not fit Specials after 1981-you will have to move the upper shock mounts to the rear. Some guys don't want fenders with side number panels, they want to use the stock side covers. Okay, then pick the XRW fenders. It comes in two versions, the XRWO for use with an Omar's Street Tracker tank, and the XRWS, for use with a stock Yamaha tank. Same seat cushion as the fender above. The taillight option is the same too
